Brussels, Belgium Part I

Belgium is a place where beer and chocolate are food groups!

 First picture, first, beer, first friend! This is Hanna, she goes to Colorado and is from Minnesota. The beer was Leffe Blonde. Very good. Lots of foam is given with the beer, you never are given a beer with no foam.

 This is Sarra, she goes to school in Oregon and is from Maryland.  This was our first dinner in Belgium.  We went to a small cafe for a bite to eat and
Sarra didn't want to eat too much in case CIEE (the program we're in) was going to feed us later.  The menu at the cafe had small or large sandwiches.  I got the large, it was a regular size sub.  Sarra got the small one and was worried it was going to be too much for her....until she saw it.

 Me, Sarra, Eric (from Burlington, Wisonson and goes to school in Wisconsin),  Gina (from Madison, Wisconsin and goes to school in Wisconsin), and Kylie (from Minnesota and goes to Minnesota State).  We're at a Kabob place downtown, just after visiting some bars.

 Same kabob place.  There are TONS of kabob places.  This is Kylie, Steve, Charlie (From Oregon and goes to school in Oregon), and Hanna.

Chicken or beef kabob.  The guy just shaves it off with a big knife.  It's very dry but always good, late at night with lots of veggies and sauces in a pita type bread.
